The Lord's Prayer

"We call it The Lord’s Prayer, Our Father, and less frequently The Disciple’s Prayer. It is above every other prayer because Jesus personally gave it to us during his Sermon on the Mount. This prayer is meant to awaken and stimulate our faith. Jesus invites us to approach God the Father and speak to him in an intimate and personal way. He is our "Poppa" or "Daddy." The Lord’s Prayer has been called a summary of the gospel. It begins with praise and ends with praise. We are confident in the truth that our Almighty Lord’s kingdom and power and glory are for all eternity."
