Senior Adult in Ministry
Team Captain of Holy Handyman Team
"I decided to get involved in this particular area of ministry because
my spiritual gifts are Service and Mercy. This ministry
assignments fits them perfectly. I firmly believe that if
you stay active after retirement, you stay healthier. People
ask me what I am doing now that I have retired? I tell them
"I haven't retired, I still work a lot but I just don't
get paid for it.
"I feel that I have grown spiritually as I serve.
I appreciate the fact that God gave me certain gifts and
the more I use them, the closer I grow to Him."

"I started volunteering when I was 11
years old. I was in the Intern Ministry Institute. I have
stayed with it through the years because I love serving
at the church and the people are so nice. I feel that I
have grown spiritually because of this unique experience
that most kids never have. I seem to grow closer to the
Lord as a result of serving other people."

"We volunteer with Kids
Club because we believe it is important to reach out to
the community children who are in need. To know that we
are an extension of Christ in dealing with children is very
rewarding. By living into our spiritual gifts of Craftsmanship,
Hospitality and Service we mature spiritually. How exciting
it is to make a difference."
