We're a Family Church.
Families gather each Sunday inside the Crystal Cathedral at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. to hear inspiring music, encouraging guests, and an uplifting message. Sunday school classes for all ages round off the morning, and during the week, persons connect through dynamic programs for children, adults, seniors, and singles. In addition, a vibrant Hispanic ministry holds services every Sunday at 1:15 & 6:30 p.m. For young adults, the ministry has launched The Gathering, a worship experience that meets every Sunday at 11 a.m. in the Arboretum in a relaxed and inspiring environment, with Bobby V. Schuller.

We're a Global Church
Worship services from the Crystal Cathedral air nationally and internationally to more than 20 million persons every week on the Hour of Power, the world's first and most-watched televised church service. The Hour of Power is the fourth longest running weekly program in television history.

We're a Possibility-Thinking Church
Called in 1955 by the Reformed Church in America to start a church in California, Robert H. Schuller faced a major setback upon his arrival: no building was available to house the church's services. But he persevered, and on Sunday, March 27, 1955 he held his first church service-at the Orange County Drive-in Theatre. This creative response to a God-given idea was the first of many such decisions to be guided by Dr. Schuller's philosophy to "find a need and fill it, find a hurt and heal it." Since 1970, Dr. Schuller has taught more than 20,000 church leaders this approach to church growth at the Robert Schuller Institute for Successful Church Leadership. Institute alumni include pastors Bill Hybels and Rick Warren.

We're a Purposeful Church
Since its founding, Crystal Cathedral Ministries has been a Christ-centered place where positive attitudes are developed, where good people become better, and where hurts are healed. In 1968, this commitment inspired the church to begin New Hope, America's first church-sponsored, 24-hour live telephone suicide and crisis prevention and counseling service. New Hope is available at 714-NEW-HOPE, or online at www.newhopeonline.org.

We're an Arts Church
Crystal Cathedral Ministries champions excellence in the arts not only through architecture, but also through the performing arts. This commitment extends to fostering artistic development in students at the Crystal Cathedral Academy and High School, an onsite K-12 private Christian school for the performing arts. In addition, the Crystal Cathedral annually presents two world-renowned stage productions, The Glory of Christmas and The Glory of Easter. Shows are staged nightly during the weeks preceding both holidays.
