Human Resources Generalist

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Employment Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Summary: This position is responsible for providing support to functional areas of Human Resources, which may include interviewing candidates, conducting new hire orientations and related paper work. The incumbent will process and maintain ministry employee benefit programs including Worker’s Compensation activities.

  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all forms including Personnel Action Forms and enter employee data in ADP
  • Assist with benefits, open enrollment and monthly billings
  • Maintain Worker’s Compensation claims and logs
  • Assist with training programs
  • Maintains employee records and files
  • Create reports
  • Assist with projects and employee events

  • Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Some college preferred
  • 3 - 5 years administrative experience with Worker’s Compensation and employee benefits
  • Proven knowledge of MS Office suite, ADP software, ReportSmith, fax and copiers

  • Abilities/Skills:
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual a plus
  • Ability to respond to situations with accuracy and complete confidentiality
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, flexible
  • Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, meeting required deadlines
