Housekeeper

Location: Rancho Capistrano (San Juan Capistrano, CA)

Employment Status: Full-time and Part-time

Summary: This position is responsible for clean rooms that are assigned to them according to standards set by Rancho Capistrano.

• Duties and Responsibilities:
• Clean each room according to set standards
• Replace towels and linens
• Ensure that each room presents a good image of Rancho Capistrano
• Be respectful and friendly to each guest
• Responsible for the inventory on their cart
• Return dishes to the Food Service Department
• Notify Facilities Manager of anything needing repair

• Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma preferred
• Previous hospitality experience preferred
• Knowledge of proper use of the Laundry equipment and chemicals.

• Abilities/Skills:
• Good communications skills, bilingual preferred
• Must be able to work the minimum hours required for the position, along with being flexible enough to work additional hours as needed
• Able to respond quickly to guest’s needs
• Requires excellent customer service skills
• Must be Reliable and detail oriented

• Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
• Push cart often from room to room
• Stand for long periods of time
• Walk up and down stairs several times a day
